Hidden Valley Families -To celebrate the Day of the Dead (November 1 and 2), an Ofrenda has been set up outside the Family Engagement Center, Room 30. If you're on campus, we invite you to stop by and view it. We would also like to encourage participation by bringing a framed photo of your loved one to add to the display. This meaningful tradition began in our library in 2016 and was lovingly set up by two of our dedicated volunteer parents. If you’d like to learn more about Día de los Muertos and the significance of ofrendas, National Geographic offers an excellent article with photos and videos. You can explore it here: National Geographic: Day of the Dead https://www.nationalgeographic.com/culture/article/top-ten-day-of-dead-mexico
